NYC diary pt. II

In my first part of this NYC diary, I wrote about how I just can’t believe how time goes so fast, and this is definitely still how I feel. I literally can’t comprehend where time goes and how it goes so fast. I feel like I blink, and suddenly two weeks have passed. We have been in New York for a little more than three weeks now, and I am enjoying it to the fullest. So is my boyfriend. I think he is enjoying some time with friends and family before we are to move to Copenhagen in just a few weeks. That is something I haven’t spoken about on the blog yet. Big teaser! But I will elaborate on that soon. Before that happens, I will give you a little tour of some iPhone pics from the past week. Enjoy my NYC diary pt. II.

Ultimativ teaser! Men jeg skal nok uddybe snart. Inden det sker, får I her et lille indlæg med nogle billeder fra New York – min NYC diary pt. II

Williamsburg Bridge Silverstories

Late night walks on the Williamsburg Bridge, which is a hipper, less touristy, newer and longer version of the Brooklyn Bridge / aftentur over Williamsburg Bridge, som er en hippere, mere lokal og mindre turistet, nyere og længere udgave af Brooklyn Bridge. Begge er anbefalelsesværdige at gå over!

Basquiat the whitney

Museum visit to the Whitney in the Meatpacking District. Fabulous art! Here is my boyfriend in front of a painting by Basquiat, his favorite artist. / Besøg på The Whitney Museum i Meatpacking District. Fantastisk kunst! Her er min kæreste foran Basquiat, hans yndlingskunstner.

Pulaski bridge Queens

Another bridge walk – this time the Pulaski Bridge that goes from Long Island City in Queens to Green Point in Brooklyn. We were going to PS1 (another art museum) only to find out that it was closed on that day / Endnu en bro – denne her er Pulaski broen der går fra Long Island City i Queens til Green Point i Brooklyn.

Five Leaves Caroline Solver

So instead we went to the popular cafe in Williamsburg, Five Leaves. I was there for brunch two years ago with my parents, and it was good. Unfortunately, this burger wasn’t. IMO Five Leaves is pretty overhyped.

Flat iron Caroline solver

A little tourist am I, after all! The Flat Iron is truly a special building. I <3 NY
