This letter I am holding in my hands changed everything. It was an acceptance letter to Copenhagen Business School, and I was so happy. It did, however, mean that I would move back to Copenhagen after three years in Berlin.

Therefore, I made sure to enjoy my last days as living in Berlin to the fullest. That, of course, included going to brunch with friends.

I had these pictures taken by my talented friend Irene Wissel. I love them so much because to me, they symbolize my time in Berlin.

And before I knew it, I had moved back to Copenhagen. It was tough, but I was happy (at least most of the time).

Luckily, Copenhagen also has amazing brunch, and that helped in making the transition from Berlin to Copenhagen easier 😉 / Heldigvis kan man også få rigtig lækker brunch i København, og det gjorde min flytning lidt nemmere 😉

August also means time my the annual family reunion at this gorgeous house in Southern Denmark.

Copenhagen also offered amazing summer nights and easy access to the ocean. That is something Berlin unfortunately doesn’t have.

How was your month of August last year?
